Susan Cole, Mixed Media

For the last 11 years Susan Cole been teaching in the computer graphics department at the Art Institute of Washington, but her interest in the visual arts has been life long. She experimented in watercolors before her introduction into photography and digital media in the mid-90’s. This led her to study at the Corcoran College of Art and at the Savannah College of Art and Design. 

Her love of color, texture and form are evident in her photographs and digital renderings. Images of nature, people, and the everyday world are subjects of interest as the camera travels with her on walks, rollerblades and flights across the sea.
