Betto Ortiz 

Betto has had passion for photography since childhood. Prior to 2003, Betto only shared his photography with family and friends. After the success of his first show in 2003, he was convinced of pursuing photography and a serious hobby began to evolve into a serious art. Several shows have followed.

Born in Medellin-Colombia into a family that insisted on the need for being receptive to other cultures, he learned to see the importance of observing and analyzing his surroundings. These experiences translated into a photographic eye that composes a perfect shot instantly.

It is in the people and common daily activities in cities and towns around the world that Betto captures situations common to his photographic subjects but intriguing and exotic to others.
