Lucinda F. Murphy
My art is about Science, particularly Evolution. My work reflects my exploration of how the universe evolved.
Recently I have been thinking about the brain and connectivity in general" I can't understand "spooky action at a distance" and believe there are invisible connections between things.
I am also intrigued to realize that we can only perceive 10% of our universe
I work on multiple surfaces with various painting and drawing materials, as well as pushpins, pasta, corks, chopsticks, and drilled holes.
Art alters the mind of any person who looks at it. Agnes Martin suggests that “art is a record of mindfulness”. I try to broaden the vision, and increase the mindfulness, of the people who see my work.
